Responsibilities*
  • Install heating, ventilation, central air conditioning and refrigeration systems such as oil burners, air conditioning units, and hot-air furnaces
  • Inspect and ensure healthy building conditions and a safe, comfortable environment in hospitals, homes, schools, and any place that houses people
  • Replace old, outdated technology with more energy-efficient, greener models
  • Repair systems when they break down
  • Ensure the proper disposal of environmentally hazardous parts and chemicals that come from HVACR systems
